Continuing on the AT from CT, I went though Sage's Ravine (snowy) and onward up and over Mt. Race. Checked out Bear Rock Falls on the way, cool spot with a nice view. Mt. Race was the highlight of my 13.8 mile day on the AT, from CT Route 41 north back to MA Route 41 at the Race Brook Falls trailhead.
Different flora than I'm used to seeing in the Whites. For example, there was lots of Mountain Laurel, Pitch Pine, and Scrub Oaks.
