trail started off snowless and ended up with a couple feet toward the summit. Crampons the entire way on a stable crusty snow. carried snowshoes incase of postholing but luckily didn't need them. High winds, no views...mid winter-like conditions.
no one else on the trail. the ausable club road has a crust of snow and ice on it for most of the way...tricky walking.
