We started late due to heavy rains but still made it to one of the many camping spots along this route and slept on raised platforms. The only treacherous part was the river crossing after the Sages Ravine campgrounds. Almost all the other crossings had bridges, but this one, the biggest one, did not. Nonetheless, we made it across fine and pushed on to the Laurel Ridge Campsite to sleep. All I can say is the trail was saturated from the rains so bring the rain gear. And I'm now finding out that my girlfriend has poision ivy on her arms so watch out for the bushwhacks around the steep sections. Other than that, we had a great time.

Required Gear:

Good rain gear
Waterproof boots
Camera.
