finished their NE 115 on Friday August 19 at about 1:00 on Mt. Marshall in the ADKs. A small group of 18 of the VFTT family and one dog were on hand to celebrate their accomplishment. It was crowded up there. Heartiest congratulations on your acheivement!!!!!!!

Lots of new trip reports will surely follow from the BBQ weekend.

What's next you two? I know, do 'em all over again with Genie.

What next? Look at the 100 highest in either New England or the ADK's Either should make the 115 look easy. As a 111er I congratulate you for the accomplishment, it isn't easy.

Pat and Audrey,
I and the kids had a great time hiking Marshall with you, the finale of what was a tremendous week of hiking for you both.
I know Fiona especially enjoyed hiking with you Pat.

Another great time with great people from the VFTT

Thanks to all

Pat and I were truly blessed to have such a wonderful group accompany us on our last peak. I'll forego the speech, but we're all lucky to have each other's cheers and support. Little Bear, you spilled blood for us and with us all week long. Teejay, your enthusiasm was contagious. Spencer and Maddi, you and your family are the ultimate hosts. I know some people didn't want to leave your place. You must have had to use a cannon to get them going!
I think Pat, Genie, and I will spend some time redlining, especially in the Presidentials. And of course, going along to help anyone reach a new peak or finish a list. Yes, 180 more NE 3K's are still waiting...

It was a great privilege to have joined Pat & Audrey on many hikes throughout the years, and a wonderful thrill to be there on Marshall for their 115th! Congratulations!

Congratulations to both of you! I was privileged to jkoin you on your Slide Mountain hike last year. I wish I could have joined you on more, but I know your not done hiking yet :) There'll be more chances.

Congrats to Audrey and Pat! Sorry I couldn't join you for your 115, but know I was there in spirit.

CONGRATS! Wonderful accomplishement. I second the grace and style comment.

Looking forward to seeing the three of you in VT.

I, too, add my congratulations to you both! It was an honor and pleasure to accompany you as you completed your final 5 peaks in the ADKs. I feel lucky to know you and consider you more than friends - you're more like family. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to join you on so many hikes and bushwacks. I know my life is greatly enriched by your presence on this earth!

What an accomplishment!

What a neat accomplishment, Audrey and Pat! How great that you got those last five peaks, and that the weather cooperated! We were sorry that we couldn't be with you, but we were there in spirit!! Cilla and I were climbing up the Mt. Coe Slide in Baxter on Friday. We were up at the top just about the time that you were finishing.

I hope that we can get back to doing some of those 3's together!! And just maybe, you will go back to help Marg and me in the Daks! :D :D :D

Congrats to you both. Sorry Jay and I couldn't hang around longer for the parking lot celebration. Or, for that matter, show up at the BBQ at a reasonable time.
Marshall isn't one you hear about a lot of people finishing on, but it's actually quite appropriate since the Marshall brothers created the list in the first place.

Ma and Pa,

(Audrey and Pat adopted Carmel, so I guess that makes me their son-in-law.)

Big time congrats to ya!!! Wish I could have been there. I have enjoyed every hike we have ever done together and I wish I could have been there for more of them. Can't wait to hike some more with you.
