Avalon Trail to Avalon Broken-Out, but A-Z to Tom & Avalon to Field Unbroken: Dec 23
Trail Conditions:
As of the date of this report, the Avalon Trail was well broken-out all the way to the junction with the spur trail to Mt. Avalon. But, beyond the junction of the spur trail to Mt. Avalon, there was no evidence of recent traffic to Mt. Field.
(I should also add that at the junction of the Avalon and A-Z Trails, there was no evidence of recent traffic on the A-Z Trail to Mt. Tom.)
All brook crossings were doable, and there were no issues with blowdowns.
