Bald Knob via Bald Knob Trail

Trail Conditions: Wet trail, spring snow, ice, frozen granular
Special Equipment Required: Light traction in pack
Comments:
Plows have the snowbanks far enough back at the 171 trailhead to allow for a few vehicles to park off the road.
First part of the trail was somewhat slippery frozen granular. Water crossing after that was slightly tricky but doable. Above that, a mixture of wet trail (mostly), small patches of ice, and some spring snow. Nowhere near enough snow for snowshoes - 0-6" of snowpack in the woods.
