The trail was well packed even after all the snow on this popular firetower mt. We still used our snowshoes up and back. When I did get off the trail the snow was knee deep, good thing for my poles to help with my balance.
The views were still awesome even with a lite snow falling. A big group of scouts followed us to the summit,12-15, and not one of them had snowshoes?? Good thing the trail was packed good! We met approx 20 people on the trail that day,shows you how popular this mt is.
