What was to have been a one-night backpack morphed into a day hike, due to a forecast for "unsatisfactory" weather Saturday night into Sunday.
Blue skies when we arrived in Grafton Notch gave way to overcast as we hiked. Still, a nice day to be out.
A bit of ice on the trails. Some used light traction and some didn't... caution required either way.
West Peak and Old Speck
Ice near the summit
Bog bridges between the peaks
Rest stop at the shelter
Thanks to Atticus, Dave, Foster, Kathy, Larry and Pat.
