There was a good, broken path from the Garden to Basin summit via Shorey Shortcut. Basin summit windblown. Trail to Saddleback sometimes hard to find as there was little prior traffic. Ice and snow made the rock scramble up Saddleback not possible. The route to the right was fine until the chimney near the summit. Since it had not filled in with snow some boosting and a little rope work was needed to reach the flatter ground just short of the summit. Orebed well stomped out.
