Baxter Peak Via Chimney Pond, Cathedral, Knifes Edge, and Helon Taylor
Trail Conditions: All trails were dry within reason and no blowdowns.
Special Equipment Required: Sunscreen and poles for descent.
Comments: It was myself and my brothers first time across Knifes Edge and it was spectacular. The weather was 60 degrees, no wind to speak of, and little clouds. The views are magnificent. I have not seen anything like it in Maine and NH. The view back to Baxter Peak from Pamola was worth ten times the effort we exerted. It was a blast.
