Trail Conditions: Well packed with some slick spots. Snowshoes up and back. A group barebooted in front of me (some w/ crampons) which was likely ok, though I grew tired of walking in their postholes after a while....
Special Equipment Required: traction necessary, snowshoes would be nice.
Due to lack of much new snow, butt-sliding down was a little more dicey this time. Summit (or last 2/10 mile) was bitter cold and windy. skin covering was vital. amazing the temp. difference simply by stepping behind those big fat (and very welcome) cairns!!
No views, though caught some sunshine between the clouds.
