: BBT is a sidewalk all the way up. Firm but soft enough to get good traction w/ snowshoes.

Special Equipment Required: Snowshoes (w/ traction). I passed a couple that had "old school" SSs with just the flat bottom. They didn't get far. Other traction might be fine (stabilicers/crampons) but posthole threat still there. Poles were useful as a break on the way down!

Comments: - 2 "heros" skied that waterfall/river the whole way down. Though you'd never see me on it, that was impressive. hat's off to those wackos!! :) Butt sliding this trail (essentially from the shelter to the ravine floor) is second to none. Having some sort of secondary brake is handy.
