mountains: rowe, gunstock, belknap, mack, anna, n. straightback, e+w quarry, rand, klem
trails: belknap range, quarry, klem loop, round pond xc trail, maple xc trail
conditions: all trails 99% snow free and generally dry except where the belknap range (ridge) trail follows the ski trails to the summit of gunstock. still a fair bit on climb to belknap from col with gunstock. other than that just small spots of snow here and there. some mud on the cross country ski trails.
portions of the foot way on these trails are a bit obscure particularly between belknap and straight back on the range trail and especially the quarry trail. they are well blazed though and the quarry trail also has some yellow flagging that is definitely helpful where the trail crosses some logged areas. i do find myself having to pay more attention than i'm used to doing on trails in the whites, etc. real nice walking though. there is currently some flagging leading to the actual summit of klem at the trail junction just below it.
equipment: nothing special.
comments: continued my belknap hiking theme of the last couple weeks with this long loop. lots of nice trail and good views. round pond was a real treat. was able to put together a good long day.
