Bicknell Brook, Enfield NH 12-16

I took a walk along Bicknell Brook to Crystal Lake on Saturday. It really was a nice day despite the clouds that stuck around. I was expecting the area to be ugly because of no snow on the ground, but the brook is lined with spruce, fir, moss, so in other words a fair amount of green. Cascades and waterfalls make their presence known closer to the outlet as it heads to Crystal Lake. This walk is along the Colette trail, and I highly recommend it. Here are the pictures.

yeah amazingly it did look nice there and those falls are sure, well falling haha. gotta love having 40's or better with less than a week to go before winter officially starts.

No way man!! Where the heck is the snow!!?? El Nino has not been kind this year so far...but we still have January thru April. This hike would make for a pretty nice snowshoeing trek.
