Bicknell's Thrush at Lincon Woods

While getting ready for a hike on Sunday I saw a Bicknell's Thrush working the pin cherry(?) bushes in the island of the parking lot. They'll be heading south soon.

Neat. I was surprised to see a belted kingfisher along the Wildcat River last weekend. They should be heading south soon too.

Unfortunately, I saw a hummingbird last week in the Boston area. I hope he's left us by now. I think the rainy season and delay in cold weather kept his special flowers growing too long and made him linger.
