Trail Conditions: Johns Brook Trail and Slide Mtn. Brook Trails are in good shape. Today was ADKLI maintenance day on the Brothers Trail. Muddy in spots. Many viewpoints.
Special Equipment Required: None but we had loppers, rakes, axes, saws and snippers for the maintenance.
Comments: The day started with a hearty breakfast at the Noonmark Diner. We arrived at the Garden parking lot at 6:50 and got one of the last two spots. $7 this year. We hiked up via the Johns Brook Trail to the Slide Mtn. Brook Trail, up and down Big Slide and then back to the Garden via the Brothers. Summit was crowded including a group from ADK Genesee. Spent the rest of the afternoon clipping and trimming with ADKLI on the Brothers Trail.
