Hiked up Slide Brook Trail from the outpost, down via the Brothers.
Date: 2/13/10 (Friday)
Trail Conditions: Easy walk from Garden to the Interior Outpost. Thin layer of new snow from the junction up. Minor blown-in near the 3500' mark, soft-packed snow all the way to the summit.
More blown-in from Big Slide to the first open area on the Brothers. Few icy spots on the open ledges of the Brothers, but can be easily negotiated around. The rest of the way down was packed.
Special Equipment Required: We used snow shoes the whole way up and across to the Brothers.
Comments: Beautiful day on big slide, no wind but warm sun. Views of the Great Range and Giant are priceless!
