This week's Bill Moyers Journal on PBS features a segment on BPA: http://www.pbs.org/wnet/expose/. The show reports that US government has failed to carry out promises to study BPA and similar chemicals. Some reporters for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel dug into the details and found that studies funded by the chemical industry tend to find no effects and independently funded studies are more likely to find effects in laboratory animals. Good studies on effects in humans do not appear to exist. http://www.jsonline.com/index/index.aspx?id=305.

IMO, it is worth viewing the program and/or reading the newspaper study.

I watched his Journal report - always find his pieces informative.

It will be a daunting job for the next president to bring some level of competency back into government, regardless of which party is successful in the general election.
