This weekend, the previous 2, and next weekend, we have visited or will visit Balsam Lake. So, I'm going for the every week club! 
Actually, we just love the place, and since Laurie is 'crew chief' now, the first visit was to see how the cabin/tower survived the winter (pretty well), the 2nd was for a local historical society, and this weekend was for the crew to meet each other and go over the polices and procedures for the year.
With that over, we managed to get some decent views from the tower, it only rained for about 1 minute all day, and we are covered every weekend, all the way thru Columbus Day weekend! Woohoo!
The bugs are definitely out and biting. The nettles are starting to grow, but not high enough to cause any problems yet.
Next weekend is our official opening. Come on up and see us!
