Bonds via Wilderness, Bondcliff,& West Bond Spur Trails 1/24/08
The Wilderness Trail was broken and we barebooted it. The Bondcliff Trail had from 2 to 4 inches of new snow and higher amounts where it had drifted in. There were two open stream crossings which were easily crossed though I broke through the lower one on return. Snowshoes were needed higher up in the deeper snow. I wasn't wearing snowshoes on descent. Poles were helpful for travel but required for clearing overhanging branches of snow.
