Trail: Bridalveil Falls
Conditions: Well-packed and barebootable. I brought along snowshoes just in case but they stayed tied on my pack. If temperatures drop, however, traction will be a good idea and perhaps even necessary as the trail hardens into boilerplate.
Comment: This was another training hike with my mountain-dog-wannabe puppy, Tuckerman. It's an easy but still lovely hike, and the spectacular sight of the still-frozen falls makes braving the crowds on this popular route well worth it.
