Hiked up the trail from Hogtown. Some parts of the trail are quite wet and muddy. I did not wear gaiters. The trail is in good repair and the stream crossings did not pose a problem. Some areas of the trail are covered with leaf litter so it is possible if distracted to get off trail, but that is easily corrected. Great views from the top.
