Caught up with a large group just above the jct of 19MB and CD Trails; one large downed tree on 19MBT flanked on uphill side; will require a large saw or ax to remove, but my guess is that the Cata Croo will remove soon if they have not done so already.
Snow got deeper at higher elevations, with substantial drifts on the CMT; took over 2 hrs to break out final 1.2 miles. But, with 19 folks total, the entire route is now well packed out, although not sure whether the route saw more snow or rain on Christmas eve/morning.
Snowshoes a must; no need for other traction devices. Parking lot plowed; no evidence of broken glass.
