Trail conditions: trail must have softened up during the night and we used snowshoes from car to car to protect the trail and crossings..contrary to previous post while center of trail packed there were plenty of fresh postholes to the sides and several of the crossings were sadly punched out.. No one had been to the true summit for a bit but trail packed out now past the sign to the high spot..Quite a bit of moose activity on the lower end of the trail
Equipment: perfect snowshoe conditions..cold and raw so winter gear needed on summit
Comments: peak aboo views on the descent made up for the cloud cloaked climb..while chilly it was a great day in the woods with ideal snow and we saw several folks on the trail today including some familiar faces..go Irene!!
