camels rule.
i love driving by the one on RT 2 near bolton on my way to camels hump. i sometimes stop and talk to him, but he is not that great for engaging in conversation.
anthony borudain was in Saudi Arabia on one of his shows and ate camel.

I lived in Libya as a kid (when there was still a US Air Force base there) and ate it then - not too bad, but chewy as hell, kind of like horse meat.

Nah, horse is more like...maybe pastrami? Very strong, stronger flavour than bear even.
The camel's pretty nifty, but I think the pack goats from a couple decades back were cooler. Anybody with a hiking cat taken one up?
