Kinsman Ridge Trail had a snow rail with some bare spots and stretches of ice to the summit. No postholing today. Ski slopes were soft snow with a few bare spots. We took care of one nasty blowdown on KRT, now clear.
Traction recommended for the many icy sections of the Kinsman Ridge Trail. Microspike ST's were perfect for the conditions.
Nice hike in muted sunshine with views into Vermont and to the Presidentials over the shoulder of Lafayette. Big fun boot skiing down the ski slopes.
