Caps Ridge Trail

Has anyone hiked up Mt. Jefferson recently using this trail (Caps Ridge Trail ) ? I`m planning on doing this hike next wk. and I`d like to know if I`ll run into any unusual probs. (trail cond. , road closures). Thanks for any info.

I would suggest calling NH DOT to see if the road is open yet. Even if it isnt, the loop up Jewell and over to Jefferson then down Caps and a walk down the road to boundary line trail is a nice loop
