Cardigan from the west?

Hi
I'm planning on hiking Cardigan on the West Ridge Trail Thursday.
Has anyone hiked this in winter? Is parking a problem?
Any recent conditions reports?

You can't drive to the summer trailhead but there's a small parking lot by the gate, have not been there since the snows

I haven't been there lately, but that trail gets a lot of use year round. I would assume it has been broken out.
