Trail: Carr Mtn Trail from west (from Wentworth)

Conditions: Muddy in spots, but mostly good footing. I believe this end is the firewarden trail.

Equipment: EXTRA bug juice

Comments: I was curious about this route since I had been up from the east. The WMG (maybe an older version?) does not recommend this route due to past logging. It was actually a very good route. The TH is not completely obvious, but a local man was helpful. Basically, take the fish hatchery turn, and go down that back street until you get to the little cemetery. The signs are GREAT. Good parking (marked) .6 mi from there. The trail is VERY easy to follow and well-marked. Even in the logged area, there are posts with blazes. I think the east trail is a little more interesting, but I wanted to follow the firewarden trail and see if there were any relics. I didn't find any. Views on top were a little hazy, but it was a great day to be out!!!
