Trails: Carrigain Notch, Desolation, Signal Ridge, Etc.
Special Equipment: no bug dope!
Conditions: A few muddy spots but not bad. Desolation Trail nice and dry. Stream crossings easy.
Comments: Took the long way - great views of colorful cliffs/slides to east. Pleasant forest and open woods views of surrounding peaks - GOTTA LOVE IT!!! - from Carrigain Notch Trail. Took the short detour to Stillwater Junction (because I love the name) for lunch. Lost the trail for a little while about a half mile from Stillwater Jct -
- I think in the area of the former shelter. Awesome day and views! Crowded on Signal Ridge!!!!
