Very well-packed. Somebody barebooted within the last few days, but having the traction of snowshoes made it really easy. A few trees to duck under or slide around, but no bit problems. Second stream crossing (near the trail jct) takes some care, but not too bad; all others are easy.
Bring hiking poles for the stream crossings. Snowshoes strongly recommended, and usual cold-weather gear. It's 14 miles roundtrip, so plenty of liquids, too.
