Hiked Cascade and Porter Saturday morning, April 24th. Most of the trail on Cascade were dry, but slightly snowy toward the top. I only had hiking boots on-no other devices and managed it just fine.
Porter, however, was a bit more snow covered. At least a foot--but packed so you can walk on it without falling through- But it's a bit icy/slippery. I made it to the top with hiking boots, but additional gear would have been helpful.
