Date of Hike: March 23, 2013
Trail Conditions: Deep powder on most of the trails. Fishin' Jimmy Trail was a little more used and packed down
Special Equipment Required: Snowshoes. There was a group of people using just microspikes on Fishin Jimmy but I would bring snowshoes.
Comments: The snow was very deep to me, knee high, but I'm new to winter hiking so most of you might think it is normal conditions. For the most part the trails were broken out but there was still a lot of loose, deep powder. It was lightly snowing all day, lots of wind and very cold. We decided to bail and not summit due to the conditions and the amount of time it took us to get to the pond.
