The trail has a few downed trees.
The trail is mostly wet with some muddy areas.
I was the first to summit today at 9:30 AM and while descending the trail ran into at least a hundred hikers coming up the trail. There were two large school groups. The Cascade trail gets an amazing amount of traffic.
I looked at the Porter trail and was going to attempt it but that col can get very wet and muddy. I didn`t go to Porter today.
Bugs are still minimal. That could change for the worse any day now as the temperatures are warming up.
