Cascade Mountain via Cascade Lake parking lot on Route 73.
Date of Hike: June 28th 2009:
Trail Conditions: Muddy sections, slippery rocks and some downed trees.
Special Equipment Required: Gators useful for muddy areas and some water crossings. Bug spray in areas with spruce trees.
Comments: Views of Marcy and Algonquin obstructed by cloud deck to the south. Gentle wind up top with temp 15C/60F. Otherwise good weather for hiking.
