cascades getting the snow!

I thought this would get people jealous


as of 1/5/06
Paradise (MT Rainier Parking lot) had 272 inches of snow and more coming!! safe to assume thats over 300 now.

Here is a link to the Paradise Cam The forest service reports just over a hundred inches on the ground at Paradise. No matter it is still a lot of snow.

Sounds like Rainier and the Cascades are making up for last winter when they didn't have much snow.

In 1999, the Mt. Baker ski area in the northern Cascades got 1,140 inches of snow for the season!!!
