Though I'd tip off a decent deal in Windham for anyone thinking of getting over that way:

The Winwood Inn, located near Windham Mountain in New York's Catskill region, is offering 50% OFF room rates during the month of August.

You can stay for only $49.50 a night midweek (Sun.-Thurs.) in a Standard Inn room and weekends are just $15 more per night! A 2-night minimum stay is required. All room types (including suites and condos) are also half price through August 27.

Cool, I always really just camp out but I have people who are always asking me hotels to stay at in the catskills and I'm always lost for ideas cause I hate recommending places I've never stayed at, only driven by. At least if I do recommend places that I've never been to, at least it would be inexpensive.
