OK, I got word from my wife and daughter today that they're snowed in in our vacation home in Jefferson NY, at the northern edge of the Catskills, near Cobleskill. She says close to 3 feet!!!! Any confirming reports? What about the peaks? John

There was not much snow on the ground in the Catskills prior to this storm. So snow depths are very close to these storm totals. There is a lot of drifting also as the storm finished with some dry powder after an earlier mix of snow and sleet. This NOAA map seems to understate the snow depth in the Catskills.

Snow in inches from NOAA and WRGB reports (valley locations). Summits will have more. Some reports may not be final totals:
37.00 Kortright
37.00 Summit
32.00 Fulton
32.00 Jefferson
31.25 Gilboa
30.00 Arkville
29.50 Walton
29.00 Stamford
28.00 Prattsville
28.00 Potter Hollow
27.00 Elka Park
26.00 East Jewett
26.00 Margaretville
26.00 Windham
25.25 Lexington
25.00 Ashland
20.00 Maplecrest
20.00 Jewett
20.00 Platte Clove
19.00 Roxbury
18.00 Slide Mt (Winnisook Lake)
18.00 Halcott
16.00 Phoenicia
12.00 Woodstock
11.00 West Shokan

My home near Kingston had 11". Some early sleet mixed in to provide a good XC base with dry powder at the end on top. I got in some nice local XC skiing.

I just got back from skiing at Windham in knee deep powder:). It was well over 2', I would guess close to 3 feet with some drifts over four feet deep. But since there was a manmade base it could be a little deceiving.
