Ted “Cave Dog” Keizer was/is scheduled to finish up his Duofold 50 in 50 challenges with an epic day hike in the Adirondack High Peaks today (Nov 28) and tomorrow morning. Details here.

Anybody have a progress report on this adventure?

Not yet!

Supposed to meet up with him tomorrow at 7am. It's in the 50s now in Lake Placid where I am and it looks like he was meeting up with some wind up high, as well as very slippery conditions.
NightDog was meeting him at the Garden early for the hike in today. All the snow is gone from down low, but I expect conditions up high are still quite difficult.
I was at Heart Lake around 3-4pm today. Just a few cars there. A hunter bagged a big buck - eight pointer near Marcy dam and he had dragged it all the way out just when I arrived. I helped him drag it into the cab of his truck. A very heavy buck!
I'll let you know more tomorrow afternoon when I get back to the Capital District
