Trail: Crusty snow all the way to treeline. Vaiable crusty snow, ice, bare rock above treeline. No obstructions.
NB: Nat'l Forest lot not plowed, but for $3 good parking at lot behind store.
Gear: Microspikes excellent all the way, but crampons would be good also. Bareboots ok if you don't mind frquent slips in some areas, but ice above treeline dicey in some areas. Snowshoes are overkill, and useable, but may not grip ice.

Kestrel 3500 data @ summit: T= 20.4F W= 14.5mph mean; 25.6 mph max minimum WC= 1F RH= 50%
The most excellent companions, all the better with 'fortified' hydration.
