Date of Hike: 8/02/2010
Trail Conditions: Typical of "trailless" peaks -- mix of mud & blowdown, but nothing to get excited about.
Special Equipment Required: None. Hiking companion tried a pair of overboots to get through the mud on Cliff, ended up being more trouble than they were worth.
Comments: Camped at Lake Colden and hiked along the Opalescent to get to the Cliff/Redfield herd path. Climbing the peaks took perhaps 5 hours, checking out all the flumes and pools along the Opalescent took another 5 hours.
