We started around 8:45 and headed off the the Dam. On the way, we met some young people working on an ADK pro trail crew. Way to go gents, and lady!
We opted for the Lake Arnold approach. The trail is extremely muddy, but the crew was helping make it less so. Snow encountered around 3200' and the spine comes and goes all the way to the top, but no traction devices were needed. Good views today, in all directions, but the cloud ceiling was about 5000' so a few peaks were obscured. Rained a few times, but we never needed jackets. Windy at the top! Nice cool day, great day for a hike!
And oh yeah, no bugs!
