I will allow Liza to post her trip report and pictures if she chooses to do so . . . but I just wanted to say Congrats on a job well done. You did a fine job and I am so happy we had such a beautiful weekend, great food and wine, cozy campspots at 13 Falls, a nighttime adventure on the hike out and a champagne celebration at the summit.

We saw your cars at Lincoln Woods and spent plenty of time at the Woodstock Inn; sorry we never saw you, though. We suspected the crossings would make for an adventure, and I'm looking forward to reading the whole story.

We did stop and wave from Franconia Ridge.

Yeah, we missed you guys. Kept hoping that you'd pop out of the woods before the last of our crew arrived. (Bunchberry, JohnS and I descended Falling Waters, so we got to Lincoln Woods before SOME of the group.)

We figured you were working too hard on the slide to wave back to us!!!

So congratulations to Liza on finishing your 48! The more I hike with the VFTT folks the more appreciation I have for the magnitude of the accomplishment.

Congratulations! That's awesome! I, too, am anxiously awaiting your trip report: I'm planning to make Owl's Head Sugar's and my 47th, and we'd (err, I'd) like to know what your trip was like. Great job!
