Trail Conditions: packed powder
Special Equipment Required: snowshoes
Comments: 6 of us from ADKLI walked up from the south wearing Microspikes and switched to snowshoes at the cabin just as we started the bushwhack. Trail was broken straight to the canister (thanks, PinPin). We signed in, ate chocolate and headed back promptly to beat the storm. At the cabin, 2 from the group headed off to Bearpen. 4 of us went back. Just as we reached the cars, we were serenaded by a pack of coyotes. We didn’t actually see them but something was happening up there. Anyone have any idea?
