Crab Pond Lean-to Pharaoh Lakes Wilderness

Was there ever a lean-to at Crab Pond in the Pharaoh Lakes Wilderness? The National Geographic map shows one, but the ADK Map and Guidebook makes no mention of it. I walked up and down the shore myself, and saw a couple of spots where there might have been a lean-to once, but nothing definite. Didnt see any remains of a trail either.
