Trails all snow-free and in good shape. Muddy in the usual spots, not bad at all. A couple of blowdowns, too big for a hand saw. Caves on Percival have a few ice patches but can be navigated, Morgan cave has no ice.
Lovely day on the ridge with the canopy still sparse. Black flies are getting bad. We decided to zip up Rattlesnake upon returning to the trailhead, really worthwhile.
