I still have a couple of vacancies on this AMC Trip I am leading for the NY/NJ Chapter. If you are interested get in contact with me ASAP. Hope to get to meet a couple of VFTTers as you join me for a day or two.
Sun.-Mon., June 4-12. ME AT Trip VI (Day hike the Mahoosucs). This is the sixth annual trip to Maine to continue hiking southbound along the AT. This trip to ME will have us setting up car shuttles and hiking a series of day hikes along the AT from Andover, ME to Gorham, NH (southbound). Total AT distance-50 miles. Mileages range from 10-14 miles per day. Elevation gain per hike will be 3000-4000 feet. This will be a strenuous trip with one zero day built into the schedule. Accomodations will be your choice of auto camping, hostel or private room. Hikers are welcome to attend for shorter duration or even just for a day. Contact me for detailed itinerary.
