Started at Devil's Notch TH and hiked/snowshoed over to Spruceton Road, over Hunter and back. Long day in perfect conditions and weather. No snow down low but snow quickly starts at around 2500-2800'. Wore stabilicers for half of hike and snowshoes for rest. 1' of snow at 2500' and up to 4' up high. Conditions were 1-2" of powder over very hard/icy/consolidated snow (even off trail). Stablicicers/yak trax/etc a must and snowshoes helpful.
