Dix from Round Pond is well broken out. Snow drifts back in quickly in the usual spots (tracks didn't remain for more than a few minutes on the ridge). The steep ascent up the slide is not very well consolidated so there's quite a bit of backward slipping or needing to kick in steps. Used snowshoes the entire day, no need for crampons at all. Butt-sliding was amazing, conditions are near-perfect for well controlled slides.
