doing all 46 adk peaks in one winter?

can anyone tell me how many people have done the winter 46 in one season?

a partner request on another website (for this upcoming winter) has me curious.

Given the fact that there are only 287 winter 46'ers I would guess not too many if any have done it in a single season.

And with about 90 eligible days that would be one peak every other day.

Sounds like a good challenge!

Jonathan Asper and propably a couple of member of his family

Wayne Ratowsky (11 solo winter)

Ed Bunk and a couple of CHUMPS.

Pinpin Junior every winter since 21 september 1996 = 8 consecutives!!!

We will start the 21 december to continue this nice custom......

Johnathan Esper (#3187) did 3 complete rounds in the winter of 1998-99, including one complete round in 9 days. He was around 16 years old at the time I believe. I followed a couple of his packed trails on some peaks that winter.

46 Winter Peaks in 9 days? I'm guessing it was his spring break. Good for him! A lot more productive than any of my spring breaks.

Has anybody done it faster than that in any season?

Probably lots of folks have been faster than 9 days during non-winter seasons, including Cave Dog's record in under 4 days.
